| Bancroft Press will publish The Mandarin Club, a novel by Gerald Warburg, MA ’79, in May. The book follows a group of Stanford friends through intersecting careers and the moral
quandaries they
provoke. Writer Peter Maass called The Mandarin Club “le Carre crossed with The Big Chill—a wonderful Washington novel for
our times.”...Jessica Dang, ’03, is one of
eight contestants in the reality show The Next Food Network Star,
which premieres
March 19 on the Food Network. The winner
will host a six-episode cooking show. Some scenes for the series
were filmed at the Farm.... Camille Ricketts, ’06, was selected as the 2006 Daniel Pearl Memorial Journalism Intern and
will work this summer
in the London bureau
of the Wall Street Journal. Ricketts is editor-in-chief of the Stanford
Daily, and a former Stanford intern. |
