From San Francisco: Travel time is approximately 4 hours
- Take Interstate 80 East to Sacramento
- Merge onto US-50 E to South Lake Tahoe - 100 miles and 2 hour drive time
- At the second stoplight in S Lake Tahoe, stay straight to go onto CA-89
- Just over 3 miles turn left on Fallen Leaf Road
- Follow road 5 miles, past the marina, to a paved bridge on the right
- Cross over the bridge and enter Stanford Sierra Camp
- Continue on the road to the Main Lodge and follow the Office signs up a small hill on the left
From Reno: Travel time is approximately 2 hours
- Take US-395 S to Carson City approximately 31 miles
- Turn right onto US-50 (Spooner Summit) to South Lake Tahoe for 27 miles
- Turn right onto CA-89
- Just over 3 miles turn left on Fallen Leaf Road
- Follow road 5 miles, past the marina, to a paved bridge on the right
- Cross over the bridge and enter Stanford Sierra Camp
- Continue on the road to the Main Lodge and follow the Office signs up a small hill on the left
From Southern California: Travel time is 10+ hours
- Take 5 North to Sacramento - merge onto Interstate 80 East
- Merge onto US-50 E to South Lake Tahoe
